A few days of spring? Lets make the most of it!
Well, despite the crazy (and by crazy I mean completely ridiculous) weather here in Utah, we have had a few good days. Dan and I have jumped on them and made the most of them! On Wednesday we decided to take a bike ride up Provo Canyon. We took a fishing pole up with us to cast a few into the river to see if we would get lucky--we didn't :( the river is just to high and fast right now. But it was a fun bike ride, and we got some fun pictures!
Actually I lied, we did catch something...something big...

Kelee's Graduation
My sister Kelee graduated from Salem Hills yesterday. Now that is crazy to me! In my head I still picture her as this young, goofy 14 year old...now she is just a goofy 18 year old high school graduate! I picked Kelee up early that morning and took her shopping for her graduation present. She found a way cute pair of sandals to wear with her dress. We went to breakfast at Village Inn, then went back to her house to get ready. I curled her hair and did her make-up. She is the kind of girl who looks beautiful without any make-up on, so she normally doesn't wear much, but on the few occasions she does you can really tell! She looked so pretty and so grown up!
The ceremony was okay. It was hot (which I shouldn't be complaining about because it's better than rain!), and the speaker system was so quiet that we couldn't really hear any of the speakers. They had sky divers again, but I wasn't as impressed as last year's-- maybe because I had already seen it or maybe they just weren't as good this year.
Kelee was such a goof. I made my way down through the crowd to stand right in front of where she would be stopping to get her picture taken before walking to receive her diploma, and as soon as they called her name she just started speed walking across the lawn. She didn't stop and strike a pose for the camera! Luckily i was able to catch her on her way back to her seat though!
I was thinking to myself that morning that I wouldn't really see anyone I knew because Kelee is so much younger than me and I went to Payson not Salem. I was wrong! I saw so many people I went to school with, and I sat next to the families of friends from high school, so it was good to visit and catch up with them!

Cabin trip in....Alaska???
Last weekend we took a trip with friends to Timberlakes...it's a small gated community east of Heber up in the mountains. The reason I say Alaska is for the simple fact that there was still about 6 feet of snow up there. No exaggeration! Driving up I really felt like we were on a different continent. Friday night we stopped at a gym in Heber to play. I can't remember the name of it, but it's like a Jumping Jacks. There were trampolines, a foam pit, bungees, and lots of mats to goof around on. Dan was in heaven! He loves jumping on trampolines, and doing all sorts of cool flips and tricks. I can't even do a front or back flip, but still had fun diving into the foam pit. We also had fun taking group pictures! After spending a couple hours at the gym, we headed to the cabin. The cabin was amazing! It belongs to Cami Newman's family (some of you may know her from highschool). Their family is a friend of our friends, Natalie and Kendell Erdmann, so we got to enjoy their cabin for Natalie's birthday. They went all out building and decorating it, and no space was wasted. All of the rooms were so cozy and cabiny! I would love to have a cabin like that one day! We had planned on snowmobiling, but Saturday and Sunday were both pretty warm days and the snow and lakes were starting to melt, and we didn't think it would be safe. Nonetheless, we still had a blast. We spent the days eating yummy food, playing games, playing pool (Dan and I were the undefeated couple!), and just hanging out. It was fun to relax and enjoy the company of our friends! I am still waiting for pics from the gym from Natalie, but here are some pics at the cabin.
A goofy one of course! We didn't plan it, but somehow almost every one stuck their tongue out.
I will post pics of our fun at the gym when I get them!

The rest of our week in Mexico
Apart from the fun activities we filled our days with, we also got a chance to experience the city and people. We spent a lot of time at the beach swimming in the ocean, playing in the waves (or in my case getting demolished by them lol), and tanning on the beach.
And what did we do while we were bored or waiting for an activity to start??? Take pictures of course! Here are some randoms from the week:
We left Mexico around 2 pm, but before we went we took one last stroll around the city and bought a few souvenirs for ourselves. We went back to our hotel room and packed our suitcases...why is it that nothing ever fits back in your suitcase like it did when you originally packed it??? We barely got the stupid things to close!
It was a great week, and the perfect time to get away from our busy lives. Even though there are more practical things we could have done with our tax return, I do not regret for a second the decision to take a vacation! We are already planning our next vacation for 2012!

Friday in Mexico
Friday was our 5th and last full day. We made the most of it though! We saved the best activity for last--The Jolley Roger Pirates of the Bay Adventure. It was entertaining to say the least. When we walked into the Marina we automatically got assigned a pirate that was supposed to help and take care of us throughout the night. Dan and I lucked out big time because our pirate just so happened to have the front row reserved so we got the best seats in the house! They provided dinner, and it was one of the best dinners we had all week. I had chicken cordon bleu, and Dan had a steak and shrimp kabob. They had two shows on the ship. The first was a reenactment of an old Mayan ceremony where they would stick parts of their body in the fire. They guy really did it too. It was crazy! He stuck his feet, legs, arms, and even chest over the fire for at least 30 seconds each. He must have had some sort of fire repellent spray on or something! The second show was the pirate show. The whole plot was kind of stupid, but the fighting scenes were amazing and the cast was hilarious. At the end of the pirate show they had a fireworks show that was awesome! The whole ship made for great pictures, and as you will see we got a ton of them :)

There were plenty of pirate dances, and I got called up on stage again for one of them...lucky me lol
Our group of "friends" for the evening. More like our drunk entertainment for the evening lol.
This pirate was acting drunk and stupid all night, and during the show it came out that he was really smart and had kidnapped the captain's sister and turned the crew against him. He was very entertaining.
Our pirate Danny. He was awesome!
Muah!

He really loves this pic for some reason...I don't get it. We were waiting to board the ship.
Watching the sunset from a pirate ship
Party poopers were sentenced to death :)
Dan was so good to go along with all my photo requests!

The most handsome pirate I've ever seen :)
Aarrgh! Our best pirate faces lol
You don't wanna mess with him

Well that was the pirate adventure. Up next our last day in Puerto Vallarta and other random pics!
