New Stuff

We recently bought a new car. Well, it's not brand new, but it's new to us!
After much car searching and many test drives we found this great deal: a 2006 Chevy Malibu. It's very spacious, and very comfortable. The whole car is in perfect condition, you would think it's brand new. And I must say It's nice to have a car that has a working speedometer, gas gauge, AC, stereo and speakers system, and power everything again!

Which means, I finally got rid of my "dream car" the Dodge Neon. Let me explain: It was the first day of school in 10th grade and I was sitting in Mr Gille's Chemistry class. He had written a bunch of questions on the board that we were supposed to answer on a note card to get to know each other better. Each day at the beginning of class he would select one student's note card and read the answers out loud and the class had to guess who it was. One of the questions he asked was "what is your dream car?" I, being completely dumb when it comes to cars, had no idea what to say, so I wrote "Dodge Neon". I don't think I even knew what it was at the time lol. Well the day he read mine the class had a good laugh about it! I told Dan that story and we always laugh about the fact that that is my dream car.

Dan says its the worst thing I brought into our marriage. But it's finally gone, and I was able to sell it for $500! Funny side note: Dan saw the guy who bought it riding around on Geneva road the other day and we both had a good laugh about it.

The beast's best side.

Adios forever.

Also new, my hair! I got it colored, trimmed, and got feather extensions put in. I think they're fun. My sister came with me and chopped over 8 inches off! She looks so cute, and I am seriously so tempted to chop my hair off again, but I am trying to remind myself that I have spent all this time growing it out, and it's finally getting long again so I need to stay strong.

I love the look and smell of a fresh color!

8 inches later

Uggh! I am so jealous.

The haircut I have wanted since jr high....

...has finally been fulfilled! I have seriously wanted my hair cut in an A-line since I can remember, I just never dared because I wasn't sure if I could pull it off (I know...silly, right :) But I LOVE it! By far my favorite cut yet...the pictures don't do it justice.

Thanks Alisa, your the bomb!
